We have just bought an old 1970s home that had a single round light in the centre of every room, each one was removed and we installed one of these down lights in each corner of all the rooms, the way they cast light against the wall and have minimal glare is 10/10.

Really deep recess and plug base loom is perfect - did the whole house so cheap its been 2 years not a single issue cannot fault these at all - my ceiling is 3.2 so still a little bit of glare due to height but the lights are still brilliant - and on the dimmer circuit they are very easy to control for brightness in the evening very happy.

Installed these downlights in 3 different houses to replace the existing and every customer loved them and wants more now.

Great for the garden beds and spotlighting trees.
I wasn't a fan of the integrated LEDs, but I'm definitely a fan of lights that keep the water out.
Also perfect for rocks adjacent some tricky garden steps... Took off the spike and mounted directly to the rock.
